A Sailor’s Dream: for six soloists: SATB and alto & tenor; based on the poem Sea Fever by John Masefield. Explores the incorporation of Middle Eastern music (i.e. maqam) into the Western Art Music setting, embodying the exchanges between East and West in contemporary Britain.
